This refined residential project was led by the Madrid based architecture studio 2arquitectos, known for their thoughtful approach to contemporary living spaces rooted in architectural clarity and material balance.
The project reimagines two independent apartments and unifies them into one harmonious duplex residence, where spatial flow, natural light and proportion take centre stage. Every intervention was carefully considered, resulting in a home that feels both architecturally precise and inherently warm.
From the earliest design stages, the architects worked closely with Kenny & Mason to develop bespoke tapware solutions that respond to the specific needs of both the client and the architecture.
Almost all fittings throughout the residence were custom made, adapted in proportions, finishes and configurations to align seamlessly with the interior concept.
This close collaboration allowed tapware to become an integral architectural element rather than a mere functional addition. The atmosphere and refined detailing of the project are beautifully captured by photographer Paloma Pacheco Turnes, whose imagery highlights the dialogue between craftsmanship, materiality and light.

Bathrooms Crafted with Warm Woods, Marble & Old Brass Elegance
The bathrooms in this duplex are a testament to material sensibility and sensory richness.
Warm wood tones harmonize with slabs of elegant marble, anchoring each space with a subtle yet luxurious palette. In these serene environments, the Old Brass finish of the traditional wall-mounted mixers brings warmth and tactile presence, complemented by soft-toned nickel tapware that echoes the refined undertones of the surrounding surfaces.
At the heart of the main bathroom, the iconic Duke bathtub takes center stage — a true eye-catcher whose silhouette is enhanced by custom tapware that bridges functionality with sculptural beauty.
Kitchen Design — Thoughtful Form Meets Bespoke Functionality
In the kitchen, the design echoes the project’s overarching commitment to thoughtful detailing.
A traditional kitchen mixer was reinterpreted with a sleek spout borrowed from the Brandwood collection, aligning modern lines with classic proportions.
Finished in vibrant Old Brass, the tap blends effortlessly into the warm wood cabinetry and bespoke joinery, reinforcing the kitchen’s narrative of tactile elegance.
Complementing this refined installation, a Thames collection pot filler adds both convenience and visual interest at the cooking station — a refined, purpose-built solution that underscores the synergy between architectural intent and custom tapware design.
